Josh is a professional, electric bass player based in New York with 20 years of experience, Josh brings true passion, professionalism, skill and joy to every musical situation. Having toured the US, Central and South America and the Caribbean, Josh still finds time to run a home recording studio, function as a Musical Director for his church, produce and arrange music, be a husband and father to his two beautiful daughters

Josh has been touring and recording with Latin Grammy Nominee, Spanish Worship Artist, Ingrid Rosario since 2012. He has shared the stage with many Spanish Worship artists including, Grammy Artist, Danilo Montero, Christine D’Clario, Rene Gonzalez, Ricardo Rodriguez, Danny Berrios and many others. He has also shared the stage with Gospel artists, William McDowell Freddy Rodriguez and BJ Putnam. In the R&B arena, he has played for Christopher Williams, The Force MD’s, Mel’isa Morgan, Jeff Redd and J. Holiday. Josh’s versatility as a bass player also includes Salsa artists, Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz, Orquesta Xariz, Puchi Colon, Jose “Papo” Rivera, David & Abraham and others.

Josh was given the nickname “Joshy Swing” because of his hard-grooving swing when he was playing in salsa bands. These days he’s just known as Swing and has created that as his brand.
